Chief Gall
A war chief with the Hunkpapa Sioux, Gall had grown up an orphan in the tribe. He was adopted as a brother and mentored by Sitting Bull, and soon distinguished himself as a hunter and warrior. By 1876, he was generally accepted as Sitting Bull's lieutenant, the war chief of the tribe, and was one of the principle participants in the Battle of the Little Big Horn, along with Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse.
