Curley
A member of the Crow tribe, Curley was one of Colonel George Armstrong Custer's scouts just prior to the Battle on the Little Big Horn. Recognizing the signs of the largest encampment ever assembled, Bloody Knife, the chief scout, discharged all of the scouts the night before the battle. He was the only one to stay behind. Curley was the last man, on the army side, to see Custer and the 7th Cavalry alive.
