About the Artist

Even casual observers will notice a decidedly Southwestern flair or flavor to my renderings. This affinity for the West stems from nearly 20 years living in the Colorado Springs area. While visiting Cripple Creek, I was particularly drawn to the artwork of Carole Bourdo, whose wildlife and Native American renderings captured all the beauty and detail of the subject, while sacrificing none of the dignity or character. As a self-taught artist, this was exactly what I was striving for in my own renderings, and after meeting Carole, I was encouraged to pursue my goal of selling my artwork.

As a resident of Oregon for the past 22 plus years, another theme running throughout the website deals with images of the Pacific Northwest.  Lighthouses, Covered Bridges, and Wineries are just some of the subjects I’ve added to the portfolio.  I have also done a series of renderings of the historical buildings located at the Mission Mill Museum of Salem, Oregon. To view these renderings, please visit the Homes pages.

I work from photographs, and would be happy to discuss with you gift ideas for upcoming events or occasions, like birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc.  Are you looking for a portrait of your dog or cat? How about your favorite horse? Perhaps you would like a house portrait of your home of the past 20 years, or your recently, just purchased first home.  I’d be happy to help you come up with that perfect gift.  Please contact me if you have any questions.
