I hope you enjoy navigating through the website as much as I have enjoyed putting it all together, and I hope you'll visit often, as this website will be continual "work in progress". In the Gallery, you'll find sections devoted to different categories. The Faces West Gallery features Western and Native American Portraits, and other Cowboy related drawings, and my Limited Edition Prints of "The Young Warriors". In the Lighthouse Gallery, you'll find renderings of the Oregon Coast Lighthouses, as well as some from Washington and the East Coast. Other images from Oregon, Washington and the Pacific Northwest will be found in the Northwest Gallery, and look for images from Colorado, Arizona and New Mexico in the Southwest Gallery. If golf is your game, check out the Golf Gallery for my Signature Hole Renderings. And of course there is the Wildlife Gallery for animal portraits in pen & ink and pencil. As the name of my company indicates, most of the artwork you will see on these pages are images of my Pen & Ink renderings, although there are Scratchboard and Graphite drawings as well. I even have a few color-pencil and pastel-pencil drawings thrown in for good measure.
I am extremely excited about my association with
FineArtAmerica. Now, in addition to the Print and Notecard options available here on my website, I can also offer quality Giclee Prints and 5" x 7", fully customizable Greeting Cards through FineArtAmerica's Print On Demand program. These prints are available on high quality Archival Matte Paper or Canvas, in a variety of sizes. Other options include matting, framing, and stretching of canvas if so desired. The process of uploading artwork will be a gradual one, but as images from my Galleries become available on Fine Art America, I will include a logo link from that page to my Profile Page on FineArtAmerica. The slide show here is also a link to my gallery on FineArtAmerica.

The Blog is Back!
Now you can keep up with Art from the Inkwell through my daily (okay, maybe a few times per week) blog postings. After a brief hibernation, the blog is back at full strength, in a slighthly different format. I'll be posting updates to artwork and products, and special promotions, and of course, I'll also have quick links to all of my storefronts. But I also hope to make it much more interactive with my monthly newsletter and Fan Page. I'll be featuring the work of other artists and associates through my various networks, sharing human (and pet) interest stories, and initiating discussions on wide-ranging subjects, like great places to visit or concerts to look for and other ramblings.

As always, I'll be glad to discuss commissioned portraits from your favorite photograph, and I welcome any feedback on how I may improve the website.
It is a gift to be able to pick up a pen
and some ink and create something so beautiful and powerful
with just those two tools. The pen allows your mind to flow
freely over the paper and create a piece of art that is so
amazing. With the use of pen and ink you are able to focus on
the little details that make the piece look surreal and
intriguing. If you are passionate about this kind of artwork
then you’ll be impressed with the pen and ink work from the
artist with Art from the Inkwell. We believe in creating one
of a kind portraits that will amaze the eye.
The artist’s ideas and originality is
stemmed from a passion with the Western half of the country.
Located in Oregon, Art from the Inkwell has put together a
collection of creative pencil drawings. The use of just a
pencil gives you the advantage of being able to creatively
draw and pay close attention to detail. With the ability to
make fine lines to showcase the intricacies of the photograph
is an art form itself.
Thank you for visiting our website. We
hope that you find beautiful artwork to add to your home or
office here with Art from the Inkwell. If you’re looking for
OR art for sale, you’ve come to the right place. We are a
premier pencil drawing artist that’s dedicated to putting
ideas and images on papers with just the use of a pen and
