This section continues to grow, so it is necessitating a few changes. Since my wood product line is expanding, each product will have it's own gallery page. The samples above will link you to those galleries, where you'll be able to see other examples. I should point out that the gift box items, ie. the Presentation Boxes, Large Presentation Boxes, Jewelry Boxes, 6 Ball Golf Ball Boxes, Rectangular Boxes, Round 2-pc. Boxes, etc. are available in both Cherry wood and Black Walnut wood. The engraving gives the artwork a unique 3-dimensional look, and these plates and boxes make excellent gifts for all occasions. The samples shown in these galleries are representations of the possibilities. As you may have noticed, I have A LOT of artwork displayed throughout this website. Many, but not all, of these drawings and renderings are available for engraving. I hope to be adding more photos of samples in each category, but it will still be difficult to show each image engraved on a particular gift item. So, for example, if you are interested in a Myrtlewood Plate, but do not see the image you like in the displayed samples, please contact me to find out if that image is available for engraving. We will work with you as much as possible. The style of Myrtlewood Plate may change from time to time, depending on what is available from our distributor. Likewise, the Maple Burl Clocks and Arched Clocks are one-of-a-kind gift items, particularly in the case of the Burl clocks, since each clock will have its' own distinct shape and grain. The Arched Clocks are more uniform, yet each one will still have a slightly different grain and coloration. Each one of the different Product Galleries will have a brief explanation about the product and the materials used in its creation.

As the announcement at the top of the page suggests, I now have a storefront at Amazon.com, where you can shop for many of your favorite Amazon products. This Store will be updated often to include more and more categories and products, but I have a pretty good start to the process, so check it out!

Another type of material that is used to
create beautiful and amazing artwork is wood. Who knew you could
take a piece of wood and carve it into something creative and out
of this world. This is exactly what we do here at Art from the
Inkwell. We are located in Salem Oregon and our mission is to
create woodwork that is original and cannot be duplicated by
another artist. We are a premier Northwest artist and we hope that
you’re just as passionate about woodwork as we are. We use Maple
Burl to create our wood masterpieces. Each piece we create takes
time and patience to make sure it’s complete before we add to our
collection.
The use of wood allows the piece to last a
lifetime to be enjoyed by many generations. We created everything
from clocks, to presentation boxes and magnets. Each piece has an
intricate design and embossed cover to prevent scratching and
protecting the piece. We have taken the beautiful landscapes of
Oregon and have turned that into an image that all people can see.
